A natural morning portrait does not always begin with perfectly even lighting and a flawless complexion. This image was refined to create a healthy glow, smoother skin, and a polished finish while retaining a believable, natural appearance.

What Was Done

Renee was selected and the curves adjusted in Adobe Photoshop to separate her from the background and reveal hidden detail.
Skin blemishes and scars were removed with the Healing Brush.
Natural skin tones were rebuilt from sampled colours, using the Airbrush tool to smooth uneven areas while preserving a natural appearance.
Exposure was adjusted to reintroduce the skin's natural highlights.
