Restoring older family photographs can become especially meaningful when preserving memories of loved ones. This image was enhanced to improve clarity, reduce blur, strengthen contrast, and create a cleaner, more timeless presentation.

What Was Done

To increase the quality and size of the photo Remini.ai Photo Enhancer was used. It also reduced photo blur, making the original image look crisp and clear.
The Sharpen (Unsharp Mask) tool in Adobe Photoshop was used to further increase clarity of the image.
The brightness, contrast, and exposure levels were adjusted to reintroduce some of the natural light fall against the skin.
The photo was then converted to black and white.
