Here’s where the magic happens. Skin is refined, color is balanced, distractions disappear, and the strongest parts of the photograph come forward. Some images need a light touch. Others need a full transformation. The result should feel polished, intentional, and completely believable.

WEDDED BLISS – Sweet 75

Wedding photographs hold the memories of a day people hope to treasure for a lifetime. This image was retouched to strengthen the atmosphere and presentation while preserving the warmth of the couple and the moment.

What Was Done

In Adobe Photoshop, the curves (shadows and highlights were adjusted) so as to separate the subjects from the background and reveal all hidden detail.
With the couple selected, the colour, brightness and contrast was automatically corrected.
To remove skin blemishes and scars, the Healing Brush was then applied to the problem areas.
To create natural, healthy-looking skin tones, various colour samples were made of the subject's skin, and the airbrush tool was used to smooth over unevenly toned skin areas.
As the original sky contained no clouds or texture, the area was selected, and a stock photo of a perfect blue sky with clouds, was placed on top of it in multiply mode.
The image was then flattened, and the layer passed through auto contrast and auto colour, so that the entire image looked cohesive.
