Collaboration In The Gig Economy
Conference Branding · Gig Economy · Event Creative
Where Tech, Talent, and Suppliers Converge was more than a conference theme. It became the creative brief. Collaboration In The Gig Economy 2021 brought staffing leaders, enterprise buyers, technology partners, suppliers, and workforce innovators into one high-value B2B experience, with hands-on art direction and Event Branding carried across web, social media, speaker promotion, presentations, digital campaigns, and conference communication. The event has since evolved into Collaboration X.

Project Overview
Collaboration In The Gig Economy was built for the people reshaping how work gets done: staffing leaders, enterprise buyers, gig-platform providers, technology partners, VMS and MSP suppliers, and other workforce innovators. It was a destination conference where access, networking, market intelligence, and SIA’s industry credibility created high expectations before attendees ever arrived.
That made the theme especially powerful. Where Tech, Talent, and Suppliers Converge already contained the strategic idea the visual identity needed to express. The design challenge was to turn convergence into a recognizable conference language that could feel current, intelligent, and valuable to a senior enterprise audience.

Rather than building the campaign around a host city, the creative direction grew directly from the event proposition. Convergence became the organizing idea for typography, imagery, hierarchy, and composition across promotional and conference materials.
The campaign needed to support both supplier visibility and executive-level content without becoming visually crowded. A clear system allowed web graphics, digital promotion, speaker communication, presentations, and event assets to share the same energy while still giving individual messages room to lead.
SIA has since evolved the event into Collaboration X, reflecting the expansion of workforce technology into artificial intelligence and other emerging tools. The original creative challenge remains relevant: make a complex, fast-moving industry conversation feel focused, connected, and worth entering.
