GISELLE – Quirky, Fun-Loving, Graphic Artist.
Sometimes, even the best spur-of-the-moment, getup-and-go photos need a little work. Apart from being retouched to remove harsh shadows and subtle signs of aging, very little retouch work was needed on this photo.

WHAT WAS DONE:
- 1. To create natural, healthy-looking skin tones in Adobe Photoshop, various color samples were made of the subject's skin. The airbrush tool was used to smoothen uneven skin tone.
- 2. The healing-brush tool was then used to remove skin blemishes.
- 3. The brightness-contrast and exposure levels were adjusted to reintroduce some of the natural light fall against the skin.
- 4. The photo was then converted to black and white.
- 5. The black and white photo was then retouched using various color filters.
