JERIEL - Student Model

Naturally good-looking model with great bone structure, who photographed well. Little retouching was needed, and was done mainly to soften the shadows and remove minor skin blemishes.

WHAT WAS DONE:
  • 1. The shadows were lightened in Adobe Photoshop, so as to reveal the hidden detail.
  • 2. To create natural, healthy-looking skin tones, various color samples were made of the subject's skin. The airbrush tool was used to smoothen uneven skin tone.
  • 3. The healing-brush tool was then used to remove skin blemishes.
  • 4. The brightness-contrast and exposure levels were adjusted to reintroduce some of the natural light fall against the skin.
  • 5. The retouched photo was copied, RGB desaturated, converted to black and white.
  • 5. The black and white photo was then colorized with blue.
