Mature, creative client requiring retouched photo to minimize freckles, smoothen skin texture and restore a sense of youth.

WHAT WAS DONE:
- 1. The shadows were lightened in Adobe Photoshop, so as to reveal the hidden detail.
- 2. To create natural, healthy-looking skin tones, various color samples were made of the subject's skin. The airbrush tool was used to smoothen uneven skin tone.
- 3. The healing-brush tool was then used to remove freckles and skin blemishes. This technique made Eileen look 10-15 years younger.
- 3. The brightness-contrast and exposure levels were adjusted to reintroduce some of the natural light fall against the skin.
- 4. The photo was then converted to black and white.
